TIGI is a hair care brand designed by hairdressers for hairdressers. It all started in 1982 when the famous Toni and Guy salon chain needed a new brand to sell in their stores. Due to legal trouble they were unable to use the company’s own name so instead TIGI was born.

In the early beginning TIGI was only sold through salons, but as the popularity of the brand grew it became accessible from other retail sources as well.

You will find several brands within TIGI such as TIGI Bed Head: designed to give you that just out-of-bed, slightly messy look. In this range you will also find TIGI Dumb Blonde – products catered to blondes that banish brassiness and give blonde hair a boost. Blonde or no blonde, if you have abused your hair by too much colouring then TIGI has great products for revitalizing damaged hair with specially designed shampoos, protection sprays and miracle treatment masks.

The TIGI Catwalk is inspired by what you see on the fashion runway. Achieve bigger curls with their Curls Rock Amplifier or use the Oatmeal & Honey shampoo to moisturise dry, damaged hair or a Fashionista Brunette mask to help boost vibrancy and protect against damage.

In 2012 TIGI came up with a genius idea called Copyright Colour. The process is just like mixing paint, only you do this for your hair and the end result can be permanent or semi-permanent. The TIGI creative colour formula lets you decide exactly what shade you want.
